OK, I know some of you also own the 60 or the 100 series (and the LX470) and wanted to let you know that I've got rear ladders for them on e-bay now. Please check my sig. line link and let me know if I can answer any questions!
I'll put pics of them at the bottom of the thread!
THANKS!!!

OK, you can call me a procrastinator!
I've had several requests to let people know of my current inventory on my stuff. So, here's a thread with the 80 series ladders (OEM and aftermarket) that I have available currently.
I will be posting new acquisitions as they become available and also I've been toying with the idea of letting them go to the slaughter house (e-bay) if I can't seem to shove the ladders to you guys!
I'll let you know if that happens, so please subscribe to this thread and check everytime it gets a new post.
I'm also thinking about doing the same with the lighting thread (too long and confusing). So please look for that as well as the ladders for the 60 and 100 series in the future.
OK, up first is the OEM ladder from Japan.
BTW, all of the ladders I have and offer mount without any modifications or drilling.
(Tears of joy!
)
This used OEM ladder is made of aluminum and is fairly light. As with the other ladders I have it "hooks" to the top part of the tail gate/hatch and hooks/clamps onto the bottom part of the hatch.
This is the exact ladder you would be getting, except I am going to sand and paint both upper and lower hooks/brackets, as well as putting on the paint-protective rubber sheet on the hooks/brackets where they make contact with the vehicle's sheet metal.
I'm going to start out by asking $125, plus shipping.
SOLD!!!
There are two shipping methods availabie: slowboat and express air.
Slowboat is for someone who is busy with his/her life and have little/no time to surf Mud and think about what mod to do next and biting fingernails, waiting for his newly ordered rear ladder to be arrive from Japan.
It takes 2-3 months. Vague tracking and more chance of damage, too (Insurance is available, but I would rather eat dirt or rot in hell than having to deal with insurance claims with the postal service here: Still waiting to be compensated for a damaged good from August!!! I had purchased and sent the same/replacement item immediately to the customer though, but this experience has made me even more cautious about packing/shipping.
Regular air and slow are are viable options for sending something that is small and light (less than 2kgs or 4.5 lbs-ish) which would allow you to receive your packets in around 2 to 4 weeks, respectively, but no tracking available.
Was this a thread about various shipping methods from Japan or something else???
ANYWAY, the other shipping method available for sending ladders is EMS/express air.
For the fact that it takes a lot less time (1 week, max to the US, online tracking) it gets handled a lot less (and probably a little more carefully as well) we can afford to pack it a little more casually/lighter.
That allows this particular ladder to be sent via EMS at 2.5 kgs/5 lbs-ish (compared to the 4 kgs or 9 lbs-ish for the slowboat) because I haven't been using a cardboard box to send them in this manner at about $54.
WOW! GET ON WITH IT ALREADY, you say?
ANYWAY, here are the pics of the ladders, first one, as been mentioned three chapters ago, is a used OEM aluminum ladder with the necessary mounting hardware, detailed/refurbished, etc...
Just for the sake of trying to keep it easy for you to find the price info., again, it's $125, plus shipping.

All of the ladders for the 80 series have been designed to be mounted off to the left, about at the beginning edge of the "Land Cruiser" emblem thingy on the hatch.
However, as it will be demonstrated later you can swap the upper brackets (put the right one on the left and vise versa) and you can mount it on the other side as well. Heck, I even have an extra bracket so if you want to mount it in smack in the middle just to be annoying you can.
You should be proud of me that I even washed my truck for this very special occasion.
However, you will notice that I tried to cut corners with the rest of the ladders that I did not mount the bottom brackets.
(Tears of regret!
)
And fially, don't worry I'm going to keep the rest of the posts pretty plain.
So, please don't be afraid to scroll down for more pics.
