Rear hatch glass replacement?

Long story short I forgot to close the rear hatch of my LX when pulling out of my garage and ended up shattering my rear glass in the process

Curious if others have had luck using safelite for something other than windshield replacement.

I just replaced mine (closing garage door incident).
I used my local glass shop that I trust.
By law in WA I have the choice to go to whatever shop I want. Safelite just handles the paperwork and payments for the insurance company.
For sure they can replace the glass if you want them to replace it.

Posted elsewhere here years back. Safelite with OEM glass.

See the yellow and white alignment pins and spacers. The tech said aftermarket glass does not have these which is why he prefers OEM.

The pins align the glass and the spacers set the mounting depth as designed.
