I’m curious if the alignment pins are the same distance apart from a Toyota sombrero emblem to a Lexus L emblem on a fzj80 hatch

In other words, can you put a sombrero emblem on a lx450 hatch in the existing holes from the L emblem?

Are you swapping a Lexus hatch to your LC? There are several threads on here about debaging LX’s. If you’re worried about it get one of the teq badges from @bhicks

yeah ive looked at several threads about it but haven't found anything showing the compatibility of the emblems from the two hatches . I am considering a it because I found a clean white lx450 hatch. Mine developed a rust hole in the bottom passenger corner. This beach has been very unforgiving to my once very clean west coast truck...

I believe they are the same pattern.

One of the differences you'll see is that the mid 1996 and older, the sombrero is on the left side of the hatch. Mid 1996 and newer (97) the sombrero will be in the center, under the keylock.
