Are you asking how to run the wiring from the body into the tailgate? I ran mine through the rubber grommet that the license plate light wires run through. Some lube was necessary.

If you’re asking what path to take through the tailgate simply avoid any moving parts and secure it using zip ties. I recall running a zip tie through the hole that is closest to your pinkie in the above pic.

Ah. Pull it out of the hole on the body side. It just pops out. Then you’ll see where it connects to a channel on the underside of the body.

Exited the body using a grommet under the rear quarter and then re entered through the plastic plate and into the channel that leads to the rubber pass through to the tailgate. You’ll need some wire to fish it through.

Yeah I just installed the same camera. Ran it through the plate light grommet, then through the tailgate and through the connecting grommet you show with a zip tie (it’s tight) and it passes through the rail and comes out under the truck. Then I just zip tied it to the loom already there and punched it back through the grommet with the loom going into the body under the drivers tail light.

Yup, did that last weekend. Used mechanics wire for a fish.
