Lame question, but WTF.

squeek goes away, its only when pedal is touched......

Brake adjust in the rear...?
1996 w/140K..brake job approx 12K ago. F&R
 
I might try some antisqueel goop between the back of the pads and the shim. Easy and cheap test.

Wash the dust out, this is normal for disc brake systems

It might be obvious...but make sure the disc's are cold before you spray anything on them. Washing heated disc's could cause them to warp or crack.

Good point, never occured to me to mention that.
 
I get a similar squeek from my rear brakes with slight tapping. Since my braking hasn't been effected I've been ignoring the squeek, I figure its just one more noise the cruiser has.

Like I said it might be obvious, and I doubt Razor would, but we have all types and skill levels on here, so I didn't think it would hurt to point it out.

havn't driven the truck since I posted.....I will try the brake dust idea...COLD !!!
80's seem to make a s***house of brake dust.....
