Okay its a long-shot, I am trying to track down any information on possibly finding were one can find/buy a rear siding window for a FJ45. If not how about a good rear window manufacturing company.

Do you have a good photo of the one you have installed. I am almost ready to take on a custom build slider from some well known manufacturer. Maybe a good photo will help them see my point. Found a few manufacturers in the states and one in china that may or may not do a custom build. Usually the setup will cost more than the window.

Most definitely that is an older style window but still functional. That even has the look of a Jem Top canopy side window, in looks. I will be in Portland Oregon in a month and if I have not head back from some of the leading window manufacturing companies with something positive, I will stop in at GEM TOP in Portland and do some sizing. I will find or build a window.

Follow up on fj45 rear sliding window
INFORMATION ONLY
Not long ago I started looking for a rear slider for my FJ45. This adventure took me though four dealers that all but one said could not help me. The one that was promising with a 95% chance of building a window to the specifications I gave them for the Toyota FJ45 was C.R. Laurence company.
Several emails were sent back and forth by myself and the salesman from C.R., were all was looking very good until I was asked to fill out a business request for wholesale persons. Well that ended that as they rejected my request due to the business I am in (flying) was not in the glass or automotive realm for wholesale. One has to be in the a business that mirrors theirs such as Land Cruiser parts.
So I did my best to achieve a building of a newer style rear slider for the old FJ45.
Wait - its not over yet, if anyone who is reading this and is in the BUSSNESS that will correspond with their needs, you will be able to receive a quote just as I would of had. All one has to do is go to the C.R. Laurence web site and follow their format for requests. Its the best chance we FJ45 owners have. I will be happy to invest in a window being made, and maybe that person who takes this on would put the word out to others for orders for others. C.R. Laurence stated that they can make 1-50 windows, obvious the more the better deal.
