Post some pics of where the hub bolts to the rotor.
 
I decided to check the hub width on my old rotor, and the new replacement rotors from Napa. The napa ones are thicker, pushing the rotor further into the caliper mount. I think I found my culprit. not sure why it didn't matter on the passenger side.

I'd be salty with NAPA, but glad you found the problem. Good luck getting it all sorted out and put back together.
 
Thanks for everyone's help!!! I checked the passenger side rotor from Napa I installed and it matches the factory rotor which is why the passenger side went together like it should. The driver side rotor from Napa is not the same. So the good news is I just have to wait a few days to get it sorted with Napa. The bad news is I waisted hours and grease trying to find the culprit and it turned out to be the wrong spec part in the correct part number box. Weird.
