Hi folks has the smaller power steering return hose been reshaped? My new one 44412-28160 is a very different shape from my old one, I can make it fit but it will take a different route and it is hard to see how well that will work with the alternator and brushes and whatsnot out of the way at the moment. Any thoughts? Thanks! :cheers:

Ohh, crap, I donthava Previa, I hava LandCruiser! :D Seriously though thanks but from this thread, what gets cut off?

It seems to fit fine at the moment but then again there's nothing there to get in the way. I imagine if anything gets cut it is a little at lower end? Can someone confirm please? Thanks. :cheers: :cheers: :cheers:
 
Cut out the section that resembles the Cruiser hose...;)

Well, other than the fact that it is rubber not much resembles! :D Still, the entire thing seems to make the reservoir sit level and more or less in the right position. I think I'll leave it like that until the alternator and rad hoses/rad tubes are reinstalled. Thanks for saving me a big bundle on that thing Dan, I did not realize the way the cruiser part was sold for so much!!! :eek:

That is NOT for the reservoir. It is for the hose that fails in between the gear and the cooler tube.
