Have just pulled the side plate of the transfer and found that the gear for the PTO isnt there, I need to know what parts are required for the transfer internals so he PTO can be bolted straight on.

This is what I have now.

You will need a PTO drive gear and the appropriate spacers for the shaft.

The transfer case needs to come apart to install the gears...

sh1t i wonder why you never got it my old 75 series box had it sitting in there and the spare parts gear box i had had it to

Pto Winch

By the photo your has been fitted with a heavy dutey transfur input gear. That gear has a spline the full length. When you pull it out you will probley find your gearbox main sharft is fairly worn. [common problem] The way to fix it is put a heavey dutie gear with the PTO gear built in back in. You can get them from Sunstate Spaires in Brisy or FWD moters in brisy. If you carnt find them send me a pm and i will get the phone numbers and the part numbers. Ian

Cheers guys, the gear was replaced with the HD one, and after looking at the shaft I know why, will be getting a full rebuild. All for a PTO!!! , the pto will be running a generator for welding, not a winch.

Thanks again for the help.

Cammo, Altho ths sharft looks bad the aftermarkrt gear works well. I have fitted 8 of them over the last 4 years and none has given a problem. Alot cheaper than rebuilding the box. The aftermarket main sharfts are soft, Lokk at fitting a genuine one if you rebuild the box. Ian.
