Hey y'all,
If you haven't seen it in the 60s series forum, I'm just about to pull the trigger on an 88 62, but there's a hitch:
Upon very close inspection, it appears as though there's a .25" - .50" bend in the frame, the forward engine-compartment cross member is pushed back a bit.
The truck is going for 800, and I'm willing to take it to get straightened if it isn't too expensive. So i'm wondering, does anyone have a line on a cheap body shop who they'd trust to do a frame straightening?
I'm looking for a price under 500, if that's at all possible (I've never had to have this done before, so it could be a pipe dream, for all I know).
Like I said in the title, I've got my dues ready to go for the TLCA and LSLC, but don't wanna step into a big mess with this truck...
Thanks, guys
~Eric
