I ripped off one of my rear door fender flares this weekend. I've got it "repaired" with some epoxy, chewing gum, etc. but I'm just not seeing how it can be re-installed unless I can fit into the flare itself (with tools) and seal myself in it.

Seriously though, if anyone has successfully done this please show/explain it to me. The two plastic snap-in widgets are obvious but its the top and bottom mounts with the bolts that have their heads on the inside of the flare that has me stumped. Thanks.

And the flares have to stay on for now no matter how crappy they look.

I know Dclee is the self proclaimed master of flare removal (or it me who is proclaiming that?) Hopefully he will see this and post. Unfortunately I haven't yet tried to figure out how to get that flare off yet.

You might want to see if it doesn't bolt though the door panel, i.e. you might need to remove the interior door panel and see if the bolts attach through there, in which case you should unbolt them, attach the bolts to the flare and then re-bolt/clip the flare on. This is how the rear part of the rear flare works.

Thanks Derek, I knew about the rear part working that way since I've ripped that one off too. That's how I first learned about epoxy and gum to get it back on...

That will not be fun if I have to do it through the door though, but that is how it looks since the outside definitely is not looking possible.

I think that I remember seeing the back of the nuts that hold the flare on(???) when I was installing my rear door speakers...they seemed to be fairly easy to get to if you have skinny arms to get in there.
