HI, My name is Boost and I'm a Retard :D

I asked a club member of yours 6 mos ago what to do with my Jeep I purchased from a family member's estate and his answer was ...

"sell it and get a cruiser"

or

"weld in some floor boards and wheel the S*%T out of it"

Being stubborn in my own NY right I refused and dumped all my FPCB funds (future potential cruiser build) into my 89 YJ. Dumped all the rust for chrome and flinstone style propulsion for a 350 and a new tub complete with the most expensive candy paint I could find. Now it looks great but tends to lean towards more show than go. (dana 35 need I say more)

Well at least I own a a 2006 Tundra crew cab to allow me to join your graces. Its the family wagon and work truck all in one and covering most of eastern half of NC for work and regular trips to NY for family visits.

We just signed up for a family membership and will be joining you for the STR and cant wait. My name is TJ and my Wife Wendy and two boys, John Carlos(1) and Angelo(3) will all be along for our first OBX family trip.

Heres my money pit. Just happens to be available if anyone wants to buy a sweet jeep for 26k ?
bwahaha

too bad I didnt build a cruiser  maybe next month!!!

Welcome TJ! I look forward to meeting you and your family next week on the STR!

That is a nice-looking YJ. Do other J**p owners give you crap for building a YJ?

I bet there's a 60 or 80 Series in the not too distant future for you. ;)

TJ it was great to meet you, Wendy, and the boys. I hope your family enjoyed the weekend, and that we'll see you at more events!

TJ as joe has said it was great to meet you and you didn't think twice about lending a hand when the 40 went dead without the battery...thanks again for your help and hope to see you in a cruiser before too long and joining the crowd at a few of the future events.
