When you all say locked, do you mean locked at that moment or just that it is an aftermarket locked diff?

Oh and I have broken my front passenger CV Axle about a month ago when I was wheeling off road. The previous owner replaced the driver's side CV about 5 months before I bought it from him in 2016 when he was at HIH6.

My truck had about 277k on the passenger and about 265 on the driver when they failed. I am body & suspension lift with 34" tires now. The PO ran 35" tires with Hutchinsons for quite a while. I just went with new Toyota OEM. I also replaced the hub flange, cone washers, seals etc. I was surprised at just how deformed the splines on the CV and hub flange were. I wonder how many people just replace the CV axle with out replacing the other parts, especially the flange, and are then surprised when parts fail due to the increased movement/play in the parts.

At $360 shipped to my door, that is a lot of OEM for one aftermarket. I just plan to buy an extra CV to keep in the vehicle and I now have an excuse to buy a cordless 18v Milwaukee impact wrench for a trail repair....
