I'll vouch for the event (not sure if that helps ya or not) - it is one of the few my wife wants to go to each year. We'll be there, but off in the quiet section with a 7 month old...

Hey Chris -
Glad ya'll are coming back! You are a RR veteran for sure. How many times will this be?
My wife says she will make her Ramble debut this year. I'm not holding my breath but I think she will be there.
See you soon.

The FJ Trail Team is scheduled to be at the Ramble, so anyone who wants a proper (on the rocks) test drive should be able to do so. Their schedule is posted at www.toyota.com/fjtrailteam.

I say we let Kowboy drive it first...:grinpimp:

...or maybe last (remembering the timed run at Jambo :frown: )

See ya'll there!!!

Anyone have an open seat? I'm coming in from AZ without my rig and would like to hang and check the park out.

Mac...I'll be hitching a ride with some buddies and we have an extra seat in the 80 (my rig is down). You're more than welcome to tag along. This will be my third event as a hitch-hiker...Jamboree then Moab and there are usually plenty of people to hit up for rides!! We are staying at the overflow campsite and will be in a two-tone grey 80 with Texas tags.

Are you camping?

We will arrive Friday afternoon from OKC.

Cheers,
Matt

Why did you get another new brake master?

OK for you who do' know the story. Kowboy was climbing a rock on Bikini trail at BHCC a few years ago. He soon found out his new master had a piece of dirt in it and the brakes didn't hold. He went backward off the rock quikly. The rest of the story is better told at a campfire.

My Junk's now in top mechanical condition sir. ;)

It performs flawlessly sittin' in camp whilst I'm drinkin'. :grinpimp:

For the record, my ass STILL puckers when I think 'bout that back'ards ride up there in The Black Hills.

That very eas'ly coulda been a damn bad day.

Jon, Casey, or anybody else that would know:

I'll be there this year, but without my cruiser, so I won't be driving. What do I need to do as far as registration/camping fees/etc.? Feel free to pm me or post here.

Looking forward to the Ramble, this'll make it 3 years in a row!

which overflow campsite would that be? Also, anyone gonna be selling t-shirts for the event?
