Rare chance for one owner in storage for 10 years 1986 fj60 in ga

I OWN A CUSTOM CAR RESTORATION SHOP AND TOOK SOMETHING VERY STRANGE IN ON TRADE FOR ONE OF OUR BUILDS. I AM LISTING IT HERE BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO GO TO A COLLECTOR AND I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO PASS IT ON TO SOMEONE WHO HASNT GOT A LIST OF TEN PROJECTS AHEAD OF IT. ITS A 1986 MANUAL TRANNY FJ60, ONE OWNER SILVER WAGON. THE CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW IN ATHENS GA AND LIVED ITS ENTIRE LIFE THERE. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL TITLE AND WINDOW STICKER FOR VEHICLE(17.815 IN LATE 1985). IT WAS OWNED BY A CHEMIST AND LOOK TO HAVE NEVER BEEN OFF ROAD IN ITS LIFE. I HAVENT DONE ANYTHING OTHER THAN DROP TANK TO CLEAN LINES BECAUSE PRIOR TO GENTLEMANS DEATH THE CAR SAT IN DRY STORAGE FOR 7-8 YEARS. THE UNDERSIDE WAS SPOTLESS AND ZERO RUST ANYWHERE. ONLY ONE LITTLE DOOR DING AND THE PAINT IS FADED BUT GOOD JUST NEEDS RECLEARING. TIRES ARE DRYROTTED BUT RIMS AND HUBS ARE PERFECT. WE CRANKED CAR WITH ETHER AND IT TURNED OVER FINE NO WARNING LIGHTS AND ALL ASSOC NWORKED GREAT. NO LEAKS NO SIGNS IT EVER HAS. I FIGURED NEW HOSES AND CLEAN TANK, SHE WOULD BE PERFECT TO DRIVE, ADD A PAINT JOB AND I WOULD BE ALMOST SHOWROOM. I LOOK AT CARS EVERYDAY AND THIS TRUCK HAS IMPRESSED ME FOR LAST THREE DAYS HOW WELL IT HAS BEEN KEPT. INTERIOR IS PERFECT AND HAS BLUEISH STRIPED INT. RIMS ARE HOLE SHOT AND ALMOST PERFECT AS WELL.CLUTCH FEELS BRAND NEW. I HAVE RIGHT AT 6K IN IT AND WOULD LOVE TO PASS IT ON TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE ITS TAKING A BIG SPACE IN MY SHOP. I WOULDNT EVEN MIND TAKING ON COMPLETEING FORNEW BUYER BUT TOO MANY CUSTOMER PAY ITEMS IN FRONT FOR ME TO PUT GUYS ON IT WITHOUT A BUYER. CALL ME PERSONALLY OR CALL SHOP

Milage is 143,000 miles so that makes it very low for year.cant say how crazy it is this piece has survived all these years. I wont clean it so anyone can see it like it was towed to me

Sounds like he wants 6 for it, or the privilege to restore/ restomod for the next owner.

Interesting deal...definitely needs pictures.

Low mileage great condition barn find. The usual life support items, hoses, gaskets, all the rubber.

Good luck with the sale. I would like to see this one chronicled on here. I can't wait till my kids can drive so I can do a full restomod.

If all I did was paint and service ect(gaskets,seals,brakes,tires,hoses) I figured about

10,000 would make this vehicle 100% again. I would include a undercoating and new sound insulation for better sound proof. Somewhere in that range...It would also include multiple layers of clear to protect the paint for future use. Clear on these old yotas is weak at best.
