We just had several days of much needed rain. My 80 normally lives under a cover, but it was dirty and thus didn't get covered before the rains came.
I drove it for the first time since the rain today and it sounded like I was driving a swimming pool. Every stop sent what sounded like a surprisingly large amount of water sloshing forward. Likewise, accelerating sent it backward.
I imagine what may have happened is that some sort of rain drains got clogged and caused the rocker panels (or something in that vicinity) to fill up with rainwater.
I got underneath the vehicle and couldn't find any obvious drains to unclog. However, I though I vaguely remembered a thread on a similar topic here months ago. Although, I couldn't find anything in a search.
Is this a common problem? If so, what should I be looking for to drain my 80? Thanks.
