We decided to put together a trail run to check out some of the trails that could be closed in the Rainbow Falls area. Meeting time for the trail run is Sunday March 21st 8:30am and leave at 9:00am from the Western Gas station East of Woodland Park.

am i going to need tire chains or is there not that much snow up their. How tough of trails are yoiu guys going to be doing will my fj with little experience be able to follow you guys.
Might see you there--need to bend the other side of my bumper so they match

Most of the stuff in the Rainbow falls area is stock truck friendly. I drove my 4 runner when it was super stock all over the place.
this will be my first trail with you guys, do you stop for a quick lunch or just eat on the go. Just need to know what to bring along. But I should be able to make it.
As long as it doesn't snow between here and there, the snow on the ground should be minimal, don't worry, we won't leave you behind. We will stop an eat lunch, usually in a place that's nice to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Corpolite, you can fix the other side of that bumper and join the "tree club" all at the same time! 
Looks like there might be a good bit of new snow up there by the weekend!

Yea, no kidding. That area should get a good amount of snow.
Still on for tomorrow? Modified/fixed that bumper and I'm eager to see how much better my approach angle is.

The girls and I went to Keystone Friday morning and didn't get home until 11:00am on Saturday and then we were at a Karate show from 3:00 pm until 8:30 pm on Saturday. They are ready for a day at home so they won't be with me tomorrow.
Got some pretty good pics on Sunday...
