I'm going to be wandering through southern Iowa in July and wondered if any fellow mudders would be willing to allow parking of a 25' RV overnight at the stops. Looking for:
  • Greenfield - Monday - 7/20
  • Chariton - Wednesday - 7/22
  • Ottumwa - Thursday - 7/23
  • Mount Pleasant - Friday - 7/24
Thanks in advance.

You should post this over at MIOBI.org... due to a few of those members living in those areas.

GL, have fun at RAGBRAI!!! I've ridden quite a few of them.

True, it is a tough first post. It will help if you can provide a little history of wheelin' for the folks there.

Hmmm, I even remember that at least one MIOBI member is helping in his town's RAGBRAI setup.

Good luck!:steer:

EDIT: oh, and your MIOBI account is approved.

Too bad I'm too far north......but if you need a place around Letts, IA let me know.

That didn't work very well did it,
Hey at least we will be getting new showers there!

You probably don't want your friends around any of those people anyway. :hillbilly: I'm sure they would throw out thumb tacks for a good time.

We had a good time at MIOBI regardless of the showers...

Doesn't surprise me on the response though.

Managing a board, especially with folks who aren't used to the intricacies of the search function, can be on the level of herding cats.

Nevertheless, I've split the yer topic there on the MIOBI board, so you'll stand a hair's more chance of some people reading it.

Actually, tacks aren't effective. Roofing nails prove to be easier to apply and the results are more favorable.
