After much research and deliberation, I have opted for the Radflo 2.0s and rear airbag trick.

I want to lift the front 3 inches and the rear 2 inches and run 285/70/17s. I probably would have been satisfied with the Bilsteins, however I wanted ride height adjustability (I understand the Bilsteins are adjustable - with a lot of effort).

I was concerned with the Radflo thunk I have read about on several forums. I called Radflo and discussed. They told me they switched from a mechanical droop stop to a rubber droop stop. A rubber droop stop seems pretty straight forward. I don't know how a mechanical droop stop would work, but I was satisfied that I would not experience any unusual noises from the Radflos. I ordered from Metaltech and they are being delivered later this week or early next week. I will be installing the Radflos and replacing CV boots. My plan is to take pics and update this post as I can.

As far as tires, I am looking at BFG ATs or the Goodyear Duratracs. Any other suggestions for an AT tire?

I think the Radflos will do fine for your purposes, but you may find yourself going to rear coils later. If you trick the airbags and go too high, you can risk an airbag popping out during full flex in the rear. As for ATs, I ran Falken Wild Peak ATs and they worked absolutely great, long long tread life and grippy offroad, it was the perfect choice for me. If you want something more aggressive, then I would say go with the Duratracs. As for ATs, there are plenty of choices BFG ATs, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Toyo ATs, etc.

The install went smoothly - No problems. A few new squeaks that I haven't been able to run down yet (probably the sway bar), but no thunks or clunks. I got about 3.5" in the front and about 2.5" in the rear. The pictures do not do it justice.

New tires will be coming soon!

I gained 1.25" of droop over stock and currently have 2.5" of down travel. Was hoping for more but still pleased.

Will post pics once tires and mounted!

How does it ride compared to stock?

How does it ride compared to stock?

Definitely more truck-like, which is what I wanted. At times the ride of the GX was more boat-like.

As far as dampening, it is slightly more stiff than the stiffest selection on the ride control. I could get better ride if I backed off on the ride height, but I like the stance currently. I don't plan to lower it unless it starts to make unusual noises (i can live with a little squeaking, which I am still trying to address).

Went with 285/70/17 BFG ATs.

A little trimming behind the front tires and moved the fender liner forward of the front tires. No trimming in the rear. Fronts rub on the sway bar and frame at full lock, but not too bad.

It is tight on clearance around the upper control arm, but no rubbing.

be careful if you plan on doing any actual wheeling with the rear air bag trick and extended travel aftermarket shocks. I recently had my air bag pop out and rip on the trail. Broke the air line and everything, so it wasnt a fun trail fix at all.

Did you have your GX in at the Lexus dealer not to long ago? I think I saw it.

Last time at the dealer was back in Oct/Nov to get the dash replaced.

That was you - I was having my dash done also.
