Racks, Sliders and Control Arms (1 Viewer)

Anyone interested in coming to my shop (Green River, WY) for a day to day and a half so I can pull measurements for a rack and sliders?

The local rental car place had a 200 I used for preliminary slider measurements, but its gone now.

I'll make it worth your while!!

guys... i live nowhere near wyoming... but i've been following him on the 100-series thread (i don't have a 100-series and he's that good ). he has incredible skills. surely somebody nearby would volunteer for this opportunity?!?

Thank you for the kind words. Many know I'm changing direction and will only be offering racks and sliders starting in '17 for the most part. One off bumpers ONLY as well.

The 200 sliders are 85% designed, just need a final fit-up and to set my jigs. Racks will be identical to my others, just need to verify mount configurations and measurements. Lo-Pro mounts will be designed for the 200 just like my 100 (if there is any difference) Mounts allow for a 3/4" off roof line (high point) up to 2-1/4". Flat, Expo and Basket in full and 3/4 configurations.

As always, willing to customize racks and sliders to fit your needs and wants.

good idea @reevesci ... i know there are a few folks in the 200-series forum that have earlier model LCs and follow those threads, but a picture is worth a 1000 words - so they say - and i think your work is great from what i've seen and read! wish i lived closer to you. i'd love to be the guinea pig for this.

Hey Jason @reevesci - I can't believe you don't already have a volunteer. Maybe you should change the thread title to "Free gear in Wyoming!"

I just picked up a '11 LX for the wife last month. I don't think she'll let me add any mods or swing through Wyoming any time soon, but I'd be happy to take some measurements for you.

Looks like I may have a volunteer. But, just in case I will keep this open if it falls through.


Also, as of today I'm a Currie dealer and I will be making adjustable rear control arms and panhard bars for the 80, 100 & 200s.

Standard-- Uppers will be 1.5" x .250" DOM w/ CrMo tube adapters and 3/4-16 jack screw w/ greasable poly fixed ends
Lowers will be 1.75" x .250" DOM w/ 2.5" x 1"-14 Currie Johnny Joints, CrMo tube adapters w/greasable poly fixed ends

ULTI-- same as above but, with a Johnny Joint AND screw jack for UCAs.

A special thanks to @labcab for pulling measurements and taking detailed pics for me on the rack channels/ roof top and mounts and the rear control arms. He was part of my 100 rack and slider R&D group and his measurements were spot on.

I'll have the control arms and racks available within the next week.

Rack mounts will be the same as my 100 mounts and be low profile. Slider frame mounts are at the laser cutter right now and should be available in the next two weeks.

Sliders will be a flat step style made from 3 x 2 x 3/16" rectangle tube, 3/16" skid step plates, and HREW or DOM tubing (client choice) and 5/16" frame mounts. All CNC bent and laser cut.

Expo rack with 6 Lo-Pro mounts and sunroof cut-out---575.00 plus shipping (145.00 to a business addy)
Add the front-most mounts to above pricing-- 65.00 extra.

I'm happy to build anything custom (within reason) or 3/4 length racks are available as well.

Sliders with all mounting hardware --- 650.00 plus shipping (125.00 to a business addy)
add DOM tube-- 50.00 extra
add diamond plate top -- 80.00 extra

I've got 5 sets of tube cut and bent right now waiting on the frame brackets from the cutters. I can squeeze a set in as soon as I get those. Frame brackets are two weeks out from today per my cutter.
