Does anyone know what was done to the R151F transmission in a mine truck to make it a 3 speed ?
Like to convert back to a 5 speed. its sitting behind a 1HZ motor. Also need a transfer case shifter for it.
 
They put tubing on the shift rods
If you take the top cover off you will see what I mean...
 
Oh I was referring to the h55,

That's a easy fix now for the transfer case shifter there must be a box full of them somewhere in Canada.
If you have problems locating one let me know there is a good wrecker up the hwy from me in OZ.
How about a few pics of the new toy. :)
