I love the concept....but would wonder how flexible it is.

I thought about that too. It does look solid, seems like it would rival a bulldog hitch in that department.

hmmm... trailer height would have to be right on... Difficult switching between vehicles because of that and possibly for off-road trailers when you need to unhook and level/tilt/ or it sinks. Great for a dedicated vehicle on a solid service though.

Hmm, hadn't thought of that--it will be switched around on vehicles pretty reguraly. Oh well, nice idea. FYI I'm modifying an old bass boat trailer to haul a large jon boat and decided I'd like to "trick out" the trailer a little. Always seems like it's those little things that make life easier. If ya'll have any other cool ideas please share!(is this hijacking if it's my thread:hmm:)

How so? You'd still use the trailer jack to set the trailer hitch height - just that you wouldn't have to jack it all the way up above the ball.

But you would still have to get out and line up the height every time wouldn't you? Not a big deal really but if you only used one vehicle you probably wouldn't have to adjust it much. Kinda takes some of the convenience out of the equation, and I doubt I'll pay 4x as much if it doesnt' actually make life easier.

Looks like a solution to a problem that does not exist for me. I've never had any issues with my bulldog hitch.

If the trailer coupler is not exactly over the ball, you just push/pull/maneuver it as you lower the trailer.

Not really a problem, just a case of if I'm getting a new one anyway why not?
