Saturday afternoon, some of us went on a test drive to the Coves, to support Michael's test of his new road grader, err, Dana 60 axle.:hillbilly: All went well, still a couple of things to iron out, but the ARB locked and axle worked well.

Got out there late, but had a great time. Lights took a beating, someone had one out on just about every run.:hillbilly:

As usual it's a mess, needs a cleanup, but there is enough work to do at the sites where we are going on the 7th.:frown:

Road grader, huh? :D

I'm glad the axle is in there, and everything seems to be working well :bounce:.

The steering certainly is a big upgrade :steer:. But I need to flex the truck, and see exactly in which situation the draglink is rubbing the engine crossmember; I may have to step the bumpstops down a little. That'll also help keeping the tires away from the lower corner of the fender. Methinks that area needs a little more cutting...

BTW, I like the military-style locking hub indicators. I think I'll keep them. I may even rebuild them...:)

Steering? You can steer now?
