Quick help pls.

Recently replaced wife's passenger side rear door glass in her 02 LX470. The child safety function is not working correctly when i hit auto up. it goes all the way up and then rolls down half way. If someone can drop link for thread regarding resetting this feature. I would appreciate it. i have searched for over 2 hours now.

hold the window up button for 5 seconds

Holding the button up for 5 seconds did not work on my '01 LX...check the FSM for what Toyota calls the "pinch adjustment"...it will require removing the door panel at the very least.

What is the "child safety function"? If it is the no pinch thing then I want to turn mine off as I like to smash my passengers' arm/fingers to keep them in check.

I think this has to do with the window regulator. I vaguely remember having to deal with this issue when the regulator is replaced....something to do with calibration.
