Hi all , I'm thinking of getting into some off-roading and have my eye on a cruiser. Its an 85 HJ-60 6cyl diesel. In stock form, can this be a reliable trail truck/ daily driver with the right tire choice? I don't see any extreme adventures in the near future, just some light mud and snow for now. How is this truck for light rock crawling? And as far as problem areas , what should I be looking for when I inspect this rig? I've heard rust is an issue? Sorry for so many rookie questions, but there will be more to come !;p Thanks in advance.

depends where the rig is and how much? you might be happier ina 100 or something so just post the link here

seriously though, should be a solid rig if maintained, in good shape etc.
my fj60's a daily driver. parts would be harder to come by if your in the us for a diesel.

post some pics too


look at the wheel wells for rust and hatch, frame, etc.
