A very spun rod bearing is forcing me to buy a new crankshaft. As Toyota only sells new main sets in undersize, I am assuming the new crank will have bearing size particulars stamped on it, like in original engine?

Assuming you measured the crank shaft? They are very hard and usually can be machined if the scarring is bad. If not yes a new crank will have the stamping on it and you will have to use the FSM to get the appropriate size. The block is stamped and your crank will be also, you use the FSM to decipher the Davinci code!

Thanks for the response. It makes sense, but I couldn't find it explained in FSM.
