I need help with my wiper linkage on my wagon. The motor is working fine and there is nothing binding. So I took the wiper arm ports off as well as the wiper motor to investigate further. The wiper linkage arms were just laying there. They seem to be in good shape, but I can't figure out how they hook onto the wiper motor. I found some small bits of broken plastic parts but nothing else. Do I need new linkage or is there some other parts I need. I tried MAF as well as Spector but haven't heard back. Also if there is any better than stock fix I would be interested in that alao. Thanks in advance.

check out this thread for the bad news: https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/27296-windshield-wiper-arms-slop.html. There is not and OE part to fix your problem except to purchase the linkage assembly. You might start looking in the "parting out" classifieds.

Howdy,
Same thing happened to me. The bits of plastic are bushings that fit in the holes on both ends of the linkage. The bushings snap on the little round thing on the wiper motor (don't know exact term). I got a used arm from SOR for $40. It said used but I think it was NOS.
