Question on LX entertainment system...

Two questions, actually...both related to ripping/buring cd's or dvd's. Truck is an '01 LX with the Levinson nav/audio/climate system.

One...owners manual for the entertainment system notes it's compatible with "Compact Disc Digital Audio", "DVD Video", or "Video CD" formats. That said, am I looking for DVD + or DVD - and CD + or CD - media?

Two...what file types will play back once I'm ready to burn a disc?

On my '00 Land Cruiser I use a CD-R 700mb disk to burn music. The software I burn it with is iTunes. iTunes takes in mp3 files.

Not sure about DVD's.
