Question on center lockers and rear lockers (1 Viewer)

Just got a 2001 4runner with the Center diff lock, but I want to add rear lockers-maybe ARB Airs-but I don't know if I should first disable the center locker. From my understanding, it simply allows you to use 4X4 on pavement without binding (good for snow and stuff). Let me know how I would go about doing this, and better yet, do I even need to disable center locker?

All you do is add the rear locker to your existing diff. Everything else stays. Centre diff is integral to how the awd/4wd system on that vehicle works, so that would remain as is.
You can also consider adding one of the factory rear e-lockers if you can find it.
