I have a 1988 FJ 62 and the pin that holds the tension bolt on the alternator broke today. 
It is threaded on one end and smooth on the other. It is about 1 1/2 inches long. This pin is made on the alternator. I don't think I can get the threaded piece out of the hole. Any good suggestions besides buying a new alternator? Thanks in advance.
