For you folks who have installed front/rear/side armor, do you feel the electric motors more than sufficiently account for the extra weight, or do you feel the motors struggling during acceleration? Is it even possible to "re-gear" these hybrid systems?

Also, do you notice any difference when the ICE kicks in?

Admittedly, yours is an unusual questions. Struggling compared to what?

I've owned an Lx600 turbo only for three years, and now a lx700h OT, and the hybrid more than makes up for the extra weight. The acceleration is insane for a 3-ton SUV of this caliber.
