This is my first post, and I apologize. I'll search more thoroughly next time.
However, I just want to know if the clutch engagement point is fairly high in these trucks?
I test drove an 84 FJ60 today and was somewhat surprised that the clutch didn't pick up till near the top of it's travel. Once it did, the truck started moving right away. I don't think there was any clutch slippage, so I'd just like to know if this is normal. Keep in mind I'm coming from a Subaru WRX, where the engagement point seems to be within an inch of movement.
Other than that I really liked the one I drove and will probably be buying it next week!
While I'm at it, is there anywhere that I go to find the Landcruiser owner's manual online. Not the service manual, just something overviewing the basic controls/features/etc.
Thanks for any help. I look forward to learning a lot and enjoying many years of FJ ownership!
