Q for any Nissan service techs?

Got an 01 3.5L Pathfinder. I cleaned the throttle body and now have fast idle and CEL code P0505 "idle control system malfunction". I repeatedly tried the manual 'idle reset procedure' avail online with no luck and quess I will have to take it to the stealer for the Consult II reset.

Any Nissan service tech that could verify I am on the right track? Any in Bham, AL that could shadetree this for me?

update....had to pay dealer $73 to do 'idle air relearn procedure'. prob solved. note to self: don't clean the thottle body or touch the plate for that matter.

I cleaned the TB and IACV on my 95 Maxima about a year ago. It seems to be fine. I used the new gasket and double check all the connectors are plug back in the right place (I labeled them before unplugged them).

I didn't remove the TB to clean, just held it open with one hand and sprayed TB cleaner with the other. CEL light and a ~1600 RPM new idle. Done this 25X to other FI Honda's and Toyota's with no probs. Shop says welcome to one of the many quicks of Nissan. Your 95 is a completely different engine and maynot have the same issue.
