I have a PZJ70 and I'm installing a new stereo. The previous owner had installed a 12v 10amp stereo but the new stereo I want to install has a draw of 15amps. What is the current output of the factory converter?

IF you actually have a factory installed converter, they are only good for a few amps....maybe 5 max. Search for threads on installing a higher amp converter the right way in a 24v system or prepare to buy new batteries in near future. Also welcome to Mud, post some pics of the rig.

I have a converter that makes up to 40A, but that was 200€. We use that for charging the 12V system .... If you just wan't some more sound a bigger or second converter would work, if you want more sound qualitiy you could think about putting in a small 12V batterie as a puffer ...
