I cannot find info on pushers other than wondering when they went away.
My AC pressures are getting too high at idle sometimes and Im guessing its due to the lack of air flow (ac goes warm like the compressor shuts down). tech says everything on board is operating properly, they were never really cool. That doesn't work for me. I want to add an aux fan.
any suggestions? looks like it will still fit in the factory spot just fine...right side below the horns.

thank you! I see that you are on that thread as well. are you having issues with warm air at stops? kinda good to hear that its common.

am I searching the forums incorrectly? seems like I rarely find anything. searched: pusher fan
Nah, you're doing it right, just more commonly called an auxiliary fan. Not been an issue with much discussion over the years. Until Phil pointed it out, I didn't even know they'd removed it. My issues are in my 2000, new t-stat ordered tonight.
