Hi,
I've been drooling over FJ40's and finally got the wife onboard....but they are pretty expensive as you know. So, I expanded the search a bit and found this about 30 minutes away. I don't know a lot about FJ's but I know even less about Scouts.....so, what are your thoughts?

I get the vibe the guy is pretty firm on price.

thanks, John

1978 International Scout Traveler

This would get more attention in an appropriate Toyota forum.

John - that is a lot of truck for $750. The headers are $550 new to give you an idea of what you have there. I have owned many Internationals and have enjoyed them. The 392 and 345 engines are heavy duty. Basically it is the same powerplant that they put in dump trucks, school buses, etc... A Traveler is basically a long wheel base scout. Awesome on the road, but that one is really not set-up that way. The only Internationals that I own now are Travelalls, but thats a another story.

Check out the "Binder Bulletin" forum. It will be helpful

Dave
