So I finally have some $$ to spend on my tired 98' 4runner's suspension. It rides HORRIBLY rough. It's got to get better for my new baby girl to ride in it. I'd like a small amount of lift out of the deal, but not 3" +. I've searched and read all the posts I kind find, but have a couple of more questions. OME seem's to be the simplest setup. Does the 1-2" lift require ANY other parts, outside of maybe some longer brake lines? Where would you purchase from?

Thanks!

Local Colorado company that's been selling (and wheeling) Tacoma and 4Runner lifts for a while. You shouldn't need to extend brake lines for 2.5" lift although you can if you want to upgrade.

For the OME front, you need to reuse your top plate from the stock coilover and install the OME spring and strut onto it. If you buy a set of aftermarket coilovers, you get a fully assembled replacement part. The rears are pretty simple - new springs and shocks.

Just beware that some people have experienced sag with OME suspension. Sonoran Steel's 7.2 system (which uses Toyota OEM springs) that my friend runs has been flawless for the past 4 years. With some good amount of wheeling, too.

Bilstein 5100s on stock coils up front, 5100 with long AAL in rear.

We're talking 4Runners, not Tacoma's.

Sonoran Steel uses 5100's up front, but it's specifically valved for 4Runners (Steve Sonoran had them special ordered from Bilstein).
