Forgot to Update this:
I have been very lucky as I now have a split case gearbox for my project. I will not disclose the person's name for privacy reason but they are a Mud person and I could not beat the price of free. Yep - free I just pay the shipping. Just goes to show its not all about money it's helping each other out, but I still will do my best to help him out if he ever needs the help.
