My theory is the added volume of fluid, essentially creating a bigger reservoir, provides much of the benefit.

I have never had a problem with a tranny cooler on my steering. I have not had it in extreme cold conditions but 30* and 115* is common..

yea, i have never had a problem either.... my pump is not even in the truck, it's in the shed out back with the smog pump and other removed items.

Mine gets used as a PS pump, not a door stop


Jim is right, a lot of the benefit comes from teh additional fluid. a remote res would help a lot too..

Now if I could just get the header to seal...
