Hey mud. Trying to figure out new seats, and was kind of going between corbeau and prp. Corbeau has some issues, but could work. Prp could also work, but there is no mounting bracket for the 80 series. The guy at off road warehouse in sd swore to me he thought I could mount the sliders prp sells, to the stock base.

Wanted to ask if anyone has tried mounting prp seats with some sort of slider. There is a thread where a mudder made a planted mount work with it, but has no slider. As a third option, I think I could get the planted mount, and try and get the prp sliders on there. Curious if anybody has tried.

Cheers

I know the planted would probably work with the PRP sliders as if memory serves me well PRP sliders are a standard pattern that works. Call up Planted and ask them. They are cool dudes!

As we are on the topic, I’m not sure what first hand 80 series experience you have with Corbeaus, but mine work great with the planted brackets and Corbeau sliders. Pardon the mess as it was crunch time doing the seats/center console/ and full dual battery console and QPM wiring from delta. Had to be ready for cruise Moab!

I have PRP seats and sliders with the Planted seat brackets.

I had to drill different holes in all the planted brackets for the PRP sliders.
The drivers side worked out ok, but I did have to space the seats on both sides up a bit by using washers stacked between the sliders and the planted brackets, to avoid interference between some of the seat hardware and the LC body.

The passenger side bracket was a lot more work because of where I had to drill holes for the sliders and where one of the little mounting feet was. Basically I had to fabricate and weld a new foot because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to access the nut for the seat slider at that corner. I also still don't have full range of motion on the passenger side because the seat to slider hardware is binding up on the body near the center consul. Very annoying.

I could probobly turn that hardware around so the nut is on the other side, but it might still bind up on the head of the bolt.

I think the planted brackets would have worked out much better for me if I hadn't used the PRP sliders. I don't like the PRP sliders at all. I'd use some different sliders like these.

Thanks for all the help boys! Looks like I’m going planted mounted to the corbeau sliders and seat. I called up planted as suggested, and those gentlemen said I should be good to go with the above set up. Should be like 1500$ just for reference. Thanks guys!
