I may have stumbled across a readily available and cheap set of urethane replacement bushings for the rear sway bar end links.

Looking over another manufactures data for their 100 series end link kit, I found all the kit dimensions and other vehicle applications.
One of the applications in common with the 100 end links was listed as the AE86 Corolla. I figured the AE86 probably had better urethane support in the states given all the years in production and the recent boom of drifting (old rear wheel drive Japanese cars made a come back). Turns out that Energy Suspension and Prothane both have listings for AE86 rear sway bar links! Woohoo!

I was looking for the link to bar (end link) bushings because I already have the Man-a-fre extended links on hand which include urethane at the frame mount and have purchased the SuperPro sway bar to axle housing mounts (but had forgot to order the SP end links and wanted to find something fast).

I bought a Prothane kit on e-bay, 18-401 that has both the end link and the link to frame parts included.
I have NOT installed it yet but it looks like the end link bushings are a perfect match and their dimensions are a dead match for the other manufactures listing that I found. The link to frame mounts are a bit smaller that the ones Man-a-fre provided with their kit but look like they would work.

At the end of the day for the price the kit was $24 shipped and included what I needed plus the spares I 'may' use for the man-a-fre links one day. The superpro parts are about $18 +$20 for shipping so I win. I do note that the prothane does not look quite as high quality as the superpro parts I've handled or installed recently but should get the job done just fine.

I'll update the thread when I get around to installing these but the end links look like a go.

The prothane end link bushings for AE86 are a perfect fit on the 100 rear sway bar.

(Note the new link is the Man-a-fre 80 series extended part, my stockers were a little rough)

did you do anything special to make that bushing fit into the sway bar or did you just have to manhandle it?

I pre-lubed the bar and bushing with urethane appropriate grease and used wood blocks in the vice. I held everything in line and had my 10 yr old close up the bench vise, worked like a charm.
They would be almost impossible by hand but a c-clamp would probably work just fine with a couple of wood blocks.
