Protected air fittings

So, I am trying to run some air lines on my rig (4Runner) and having some issues on where to put the air fittings in a protected location. I want one in the front grill area, as well at the back bumper. Is it too dusty or something that I'm missing?

I can make brackets and weld but want easy access (of course). Could I see pics of what you did?

I see people use rubber caps to cover them.

The front bumper bracket provides a sort of pocket. I used this area on both sides of the rig. I don't find I need any more as the coiled air line extends to the rear.
