In efforts to clean and regrease my rear locker actuator, I took everything apart and did not mark anything prior as mentioned on slee's website. Now I am trying to figure out how properly reassemble but I do not know where to line up the actuator rod against the main gear. How much of the rod is supposed to stick out during full engagement? How much at full retraction? Does anyone happen to have these figures?

Thanks in advance!

The actuator itself pushes out or pulls in the rod by tensioning a strong spring one way or the other. It's the gear-works in the diff which limits the movement. If the diff.lock was engaged when removing the actuator, then engage the actuator before installing it; and if the diff was open when disasembling, then put the actuator back in the open/disengaged position.
