Very sadd, I wish all good to his family.

Woody Can we do a memorial to a lost member? Ths is sad day for me as I have felt conected wit him as I have lost a family member to the same thing and it was and still is devastating to remember the lost. You will not believe me but I will have a memorial sticker made for my 40 . The best to the family and my condolences but josh is in a better place now and he can watch over his boys from heaven.

JOSH YOU WILL BE MISSED.

Guys, Im Dave, Josh's buddie who helped finish the rig, and now Im holding onto it so his boys can enjoy it some day. I have my own rig for the hardcore stuff, the land cruiser will be used, maintained and upgraded over time.

Last weekend we did a memorial run for josh, He would have been 29years old this weekend. Every year around Easter near his birthday we will plan a memorial run for Josh with the land cruiser.

Ill try to remember to post up here for next year if any of you would like to attend.

Thanks for posting up and I bet his boys will be super excited the day you turn the keys back over. Color on the rig looks good and I dig the white on the cage, nice contrast. Memorial run sounds like a great way to remember a friend.

It has sat through the hot summer not used since that trip. I have a list of things to fix before the next family trip to Sadona at the end of the month.

Rosie and Josh's Boys moved from AZ to Virgina last weekend.
We had a fun going away party last weekend, good times.

good to see josh is remembered. never meet him in person. conversated online. i feel as though i truley knew him. his death touched me. will always remain in my sig line.

Ive been talking with Rosie, before she left AZ she suggested we sell the FJ but I refused. Ive really been torn with this decision but have not been getting much use out of the land cruiser and I feel like it is wasting way. I dont want to give Josh's boys a used up rig years from now. Rosie said Aiden does not talk about the Landcruiser much. She still urges me to sell it. I offered to sell it and put money in a custodial account under Rosie's control for the boys. The investment will grow interest over the years and Aiden can buy into the hobby or what ever he is interested in. Rosie like the idea of me opening an investment account for the boys.

This has been a really hard decision because this is not what I wanted to happen. Ill work on it this weekend to clean it up and post it up on craigs list soon. I dont know what to ask for it yet.

We will still do the annual josh memorial trail runs but Ill just do them with my rig.

wow, this really hits home on many levels without having experience in the same way.... I've lost friends way before their time but in horrible and unexpected circumstances, not like this. I read the story on pirate as well and its great that you have done this for him and his family. Please keep it up, no matter what you do with the truck. Thank you.
