Profile picture

I was wondering how to attach a picture to your profile. I've already posted a pic to the thread by reducing the size. Do you have to reduce your profile pic to a certain size, and how do you attach it?

when I click on Edit Avatar in the User CP, it says "The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 13.7 KB (whichever is smaller). "

when I click on Edit Profile Picture, it says "The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller)."

it's all there.....

Thanks for the reply, I now see the Edit Avitar. Is it possible that this is added along with some extra space in the pm mailbox after a certain amount of posts? I may have just over looked it.

per your introduction email, some features (like the avatar and your PM box size) change after you have 10+ posts in the forum..........

Woody, Thanks for the help. I had no problem using IrFan to reduce photos and post to threads. When I reduce pixels to 100x100 for use as avatar, how do you reduce the kb of the photo? I believe they need to be below 5kb not 13.7 kb(when clicking on edit avatar) and I've been around 18kb after reducing the pixels. Am I doing something wrong?Thanks Dave

it's another setting/switch in IrFanView....just keep messin with it...has to do with the percentage of compression....
