Procedure to read DTC with engine compartment port?

Gents -

Wife has an 06 LX and had the airbag light start flashing today.

She said she did have a 1/4 - 1/2 glass of water spill on the center console the other day. I only have volume 1 of the 06 Service Manual (my mistake), but downloaded the 04 Hundy... That shows the sensor up behind the ashtray??? Does anyone know if the Later Lexus has any airgbag sensors under the console?

I've searched and only have found to Jump TC and E1, but no procedure on if you just turn key on after that and read flashes... Before I start sticking wires in the port, any guidance would be appreciated on procedure and flash count would be helpful.

To read codes:
- Turn ignition to "On".
- Insert jumper wire to make the connection.
Codes will start flashing right away so by the time you run back around to read them you will have missed a few flashes. It will just keep repeating the codes so you will want to let it go around a couple of times to be sure you haven't missed any.
- After recording the codes turn the ignition to "off".
- Remove jumper wire.

To erase codes:
- Insert jumper first.
- Turn ignition to "on".
- Tap brake pedal repeatedly 8 or more times quickly.
- Turn ignition to "off".
Remove jumper wire.

Note: This procedures also allows you to read VSC and ABS codes as well. Most code readers do not display these codes.

Wife got home..

Airbag Light Blinking (8) times, then (6) times, pause and repeat (8) Times, then (6) times.

Figured great (86)...
