Problem with passanger door lock.

I have a 99 100. Here's my problem, The passenger door will not unlock using the key and the alarm goes off! Would this be the door lock actuator? Only happens on this one door. Works find with remote. Anyone have suggestions?

I bet if you open the door panel you will find that only one of the cables are connected. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think one cable unlocks with the actuator an the other with the key (and the hand switch).

Thanks for the suggestion. I will pull the door panel off this weekend.

Mine does the same. If I lock all doors with fob then try and unlock passenger door with the key, the alarm sounds. Not the case with the driver door.

My alarm sounds and the door will not unlock. It's somewhat nice to know I'm not the only one with this issue.
