problem with landcruiser CYGNUS

have a 2006 cygnus with 2uzfe

PROBLEM AREAS
1. CEL engine light on VRC TRAC , VRC OFF, lights on
2. VGS light blinking
3. When you put the auto transmission shifter into "D"rive the car acts like it's in neutral and will not move forward, or move forward very slowly, when you press on the accelerator pedal.
4. BAttery is not fully functional taking long time to start
5. too much smoke


HAve got the battery recharged but needs replacement i guess

Replace battery and get charge level back to baseline, then see what codes still show up, though the transmission issue suggests something more significant.
