Problem removing rear fender flares ('02 LC100)

Hey everybody,

I've recently tried to remove my fender flares, and every single one of them came off without issue except these things on the back end:

I removed four or five metal clips that were holding it in but it's solid on there still, too much to force off. Any advice is appreciated, I couldn't find others with this issue so maybe I'm just dumb. Thanks

Isn't there an adhesive/double sided tape also holding them on? It's been six years since I removed mine, but I remember having to clean a line of adhesive off all my fenders.

Thanks for the help! Yeah, I'm about 100% sure that's what's holding it in.
