Hello,

First of all sorry for my english ....
I present Mathias, I am French, I live near Paris and I just acquired a 100 uzj 1998.
After 3 days, already a big problem, starting this morning, I found that I no longer had speedometer, tachometer of more than odometer display, fuel gauge!
I am disappointed .....
If some of you have had this problem .... thank you for helping me!

Thank you in advance,;)

Welcome Toymi~ I also have a 1998 UZJ 100.

Je pense que vous avez un grillé fusible de 15 ampères situé dans le bloc de fusible près des pieds du conducteur.

Remplacer ce fusible et vos jauges fonctionnent à nouveau.

[gotta love Google Translate]

The problem is figuring out why the fuse blew in the first place.
Does your UZJ have a lot of electronic accessories, extra lights, or gadgets?
Maybe some accessory added by the previous owner is causing a short circuit in the gauges' circuit?

In any case, try replacing the 15 amp fuse near the floor by the driver's feet and see if your gauges work.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.
I checked all fuses and they are all good.
The véhcule is strictly original, there was no addition of equipment .....

Voltmeter, oil pressure and water temperature work.
I have all the lights are ok, except for the design of small vehicle that indicates the positon of the hydrolic suspension.

I'll try to make an appointment for a diagnostic toyota.

I hope this is a power cut or disconnected??
Is the meter can be easily removed?

I'm still going to recheck the 15 amp fuse but I do not really believe ...

Thank you again, I take every possible advice!! ;)

Im having the same problem now on a friend's 100. Shop says the whole cluster needs to be replaced.

Thank you for your answer.

I come back from toyota and mechanics don't know between change the cluster or a cut on the harness .....

The cluster is very expensive in France ...... do you have any good places to buy this item:hhmm:

Thanks in advance,
